What is a ridge cap?

A ridge cap is on the peak of your roof and all corners. Ridge act as shield against rain. An upside down V shaped made up of concrete or terracotta. Both side of your ridge are bedded and pointed to seal all the gaps. If you notice any holes or missing collars this may present a problem.
